I am Shobana Raghavan, an indian carnatic classical singer. With 20 years of advanced music tutelage under the able guidance of esteemed gurus Smt. Suguna Varadachari and Smt. Padma Chandilyan, I have performed around 80 solo vocal concerts and in over five hundred concerts as vocal accompaniment for the Indian Classical dance form, Bharatanatyam.
I learn Bharatanatyam from Guru Smt. Suba Ramesh Parmar,founder director of the Shubanjali School of Performing Arts in New Jersey
I also learn the violin under the tutelage of Guru Shri A.R.Balaskandan.
I teach vocal music at Manhattan and at New Jersey.
